Renewi appoints a new Managing Director for Renewi Commercial Waste Netherlands division

International waste-to-product company, Renewi plc (LSE: RWI) has appointed Meinderdjan Botman as Managing Director for Renewi Commercial Waste Netherlands division, bolstering its Executive Committee with this permanent appointment.
Meinderdjan has a strong track record in supply chain and logistics management roles. He has worked for over 20 years in this area covering industries which include the Dutch Royal Navy, FMCG, freight forwarding, & contract logistics, global supply chains and innovation. During his career, Meinderdjan has developed a strong portfolio of experience in all aspects of the chain and logistics management including project man-agement, IT, sales, marketing, business development, product development and general management.
For the past 14 years, Meinderdjan has been in various leadership roles at DSV Solutions A/S. Before this, Meinderdjan played a leading role during the acquisition and integration of the Koninklijke Frans Maas Groep N.V. by DSV, eventually becoming Chief Commercial Officer of DSV Solutions A/S.
Meinderdjan joined Renewi on 1 October 2019 and succeeds Renewi’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Otto de Bont, who led the division before his appointment to CEO. Otto de Bont, CEO at Renewi said:
